Marie was born on November 6th, 1874 in Plesice, Moravia, Czechoslovakia. Marie's father was Thomas JANDA and her mother was Katerina OTOUPA. Her paternal grandparents were Tomas JANDA and Elenora PROKES; her maternal grandfather was Ian (Jan) OTOUPAL and her maternal grandmother is CHALDEK. She had two brothers named Jan (John) and Jacub. She had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Anton, Frantisek, Jacub, Cyril, Josef, Frantiska, Petronila and Karolina. She died at the age of 33 on March 18th, 1908.-
