James Stephens

James was born in 1834. James' father was Hercules Stephens and his mother was Jane Behenna. His maternal grandparents were Ferdinando Behenna and Ann Tregaskis. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Henry, John, Hercules, Mary Ann, Fanny, Jane, Elizabeth and Caroline. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
