Elizabeth's father was Washington Davison and her mother was Ellen Mary Ann Dean.  Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Davison and Caroline Frances Haswell; her maternal grandparents were John Dean and Susan Eldon. She had a brother and three sisters, named Frederick, Isabella, Constance and Ellen.  She was the second youngest of the five known children.  She died due to a medical problem, Congestion of the brain, at the age of 3 on December 22nd, 1871 in 51 Heath Street, Mile End Old Town, London, UK.³
