John Doleman

John was born on April 17th, 1870 in 37 West Russell Street, Glasgow. John's father was William Doleman and his mother was Annie Young. His paternal grandparents were William Doleman and Catherine Hamilton; his maternal grandparents were James Young and Annie Thompson. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Alexander Hamilton, William James, James, William Robert, Frank, Margaret, Catherine Annie, Annie, Agnes, Nelly Diana Rolland and Alice Elizabeth Maud. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother named William Hamilton. He died at the age of 66 on February 24th, 1937 in Hillhead, Glasgow.
