Annie was born in 1844 in Dundyvan, Lanark Scotland.  Annie's father was James Young and her mother was Annie Thompson.  Her maternal grandparents were William Thompson and Helen Stewart.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 88 on October 2nd, 1932.
