Franz was born on January 25th, 1776 in Herálec č.105.1  Franz's father was Wenceslaw Moschner and his mother was Catharina Odwaska.  His maternal grandparents were Franciscus Odwaska and <Unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named Georgius, Catharina and Josepha.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
