Ignác was born on February 1st, 1806.  Ignác's father was Josef Henry Bukáček and his mother was Anna Polanská. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Josef, František, Jan, Josef, Václav, Václav, Anna, Maria Anna, Barbora, Františka and Terezie.  He was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children.
