František was born on July 5th, 1792.  František's father was Josef Henry Bukáček and his mother was Anna Polanská. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Josef, Jan, Josef, Václav, Ignác, Václav, Anna, Maria Anna, Barbora, Františka and Terezie.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
