Pe(e)ter was born in April 1761 in Meeuwen and his baptism took place there on April 5th, 1761.1   His godmother was Cornelia Vos. Pe(e)ter's father was Peeter Vos and his mother was Anna Maria van Sinttruijen.  His paternal grandparents were Gerrit Vos and Cornelia van Hagoort; his maternal grandparents were Frederik Mattheuszn van Sinttruijen and Hilleke Petersdr van den Assem. He had three brothers and a sister, named Gerrit, Jan, Hendrik and Hilleke.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 70 on November 18th, 1831 in Genderen.2
