Jenneke was born in 1694 in Aalburg. Jenneke's father was Hendrik Janszn Verdoorn and her mother was Magdalena Ariens van der Flier.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Verdoorn and N.N. N.N.; her maternal grandparents were Arien Laurenszn van der Flier and Maijken Philipsdr Verhaage. She had a brother and four sisters, named Jan, Maria Hendriks, Adriaantje, Adriaantje and Geertruijd.  She was the third oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 93 on February 19th, 1787 in Aalburg.1
