Geertruyt was born in 1683 in Sprang-Capelle and her baptism took place on March 21st, 1683 in Capelle (Noord Brabant).1   Her godfathers were Huybert Corneliszn, Jan Janszn and her godmother was Neeltgen Petersdr. Geertruyt's father was Jan Peterszn Timmers and her mother is Janneke Jansdr de Loper.  Her paternal grandparents were Peter Teuniszn Timmers and Maycken Geerits Petersdr van der Hoeven; her maternal grandparents were Jan Gerritszn de Looper and Geertruyt Maertensdr Dolck. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Peter, Geert, Peter, Jan, Gerrit Janszn, Joannes, Joannes, Marten and Geertruydt.  She was the sixth oldest of the ten children.  She died before 1686.1
