Maartje was born in June 1803 in Putten and her baptism took place there on June 19th, 1803.1  Maartje's father was Renger Aartszn Rengersen and her mother was Dirkje Buijen.  Her paternal grandparents were Arend Rengersen and Grietje Aartsdr Martenszn N.N.; her maternal grandparents were Sebert Buijng and Maartje Willemsdr N.N.. She had two brothers and a sister, named Aart, Evert Aartszn and Maartje. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Willem and Maartje.  She died at the age of 1 on November 25th, 1804 in Putten.1
