Andries Arien Andrieszn was born in 1717 in Haaften and his baptism took place there on May 16th, 1717.1   His godmother was/is Jenneken Andriesdr van Oostrum. Andries Arien Andrieszn's father is Arien Andrieszn van Oostrum and his mother is Metjen Hendricksdr Aldens.  His maternal grandparents were Hendrick Dirckszn Aldens and N.N. N.N.. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Jan Arien Andrieszn, Hendrik Arien Andrieszn, Jenneken Arien Andriesdr, Metje Arien Andriesdr, Teuntjen Arien Andriesdr and Teuntje Arien Andriesdr.  He is the fifth oldest of the seven children.
