Neeltje Jansdr was born in August 1748 and her baptism took place on August 30th, 1748 in Enkhuizen.1  Neeltje Jansdr's father was Jan Eijberszn N.N. and her mother was Antje Barendsdr N.N..  Her maternal grandparents are Barent Janszn N.N. and Geertje Pietersdr N.N.. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Barent Janszn, Egbert Janszn, Geertjen Jansdr, Trijntje Jansdr, Elisabeth Jansdr and Liepje Jansdr.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 68 on February 15th, 1817 in Enkhuizen.2
