Anna was born in 1725 in Loon op Zand and her baptism took place there on January 21st, 1725.1  Anna's father was Wouter Goverdszn van der Leij and her mother was Dorothea Petersdr de Rooij. She had two brothers and a sister, named Peeter, Dirk and Maria.  She was the second oldest of the four children.
