Helena was born in 1779 in Besoijen and her baptism took place there on July 25th, 1779.1  Helena's father was Antonie Toniszn Kuijsten and her mother was Jenneke Govertsdr van Helvoirt.  Her paternal grandparents were Tonnis Antoniszn Kuijsten and Lambertje Nieuwstraten; her maternal grandparents were Govert van Helvoirt and Helena Oremans. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Antonie, Antonie, Govert, Leendert, Lambertus, Lammertje and Johanna.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 1 on September 29th, 1780 in Besoijen.1
