Antonie was born in 1778 in Besoijen and his baptism took place there on January 25th, 1778.1  Antonie's father was Antonie Toniszn Kuijsten and his mother was Jenneke Govertsdr van Helvoirt.  His paternal grandparents were Tonnis Antoniszn Kuijsten and Lambertje Nieuwstraten; his maternal grandparents were Govert van Helvoirt and Helena Oremans. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Antonie, Govert, Leendert, Lambertus, Helena, Lammertje and Johanna.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 2 on December 2nd, 1780 in Besoijen.1
