Hilleke was born in 1711 in Gameren and her baptism took place there on October 4th, 1711.1  Hilleke's father was Jan Corneliszn de Geus and her mother is Jenneke Jacobs Salomons.  Her paternal grandparents were Cornelis Janszn de Geus and Hendrikske Aalbertsdr van Gameren; her maternal grandparents are Jacob Janszn Salomons and Geertje Jansdr van Kerkwijk. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Cornelis, Jan Janszn, Marijke, Lijske, Geertje and Hendrikske.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 69 in 1780 in Gameren.
