Dirk was born in 1736 and his baptism took place on May 20th, 1736 in Haaften.1   His godmother was/is Neelken Dirksdr Rink. Dirk's father is Jan Peterszn Donker and his mother is Teuntje Hendriksdr Aldens.  His maternal grandparents were Hendrick Dirckszn Aldens and N.N. N.N.. He has three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Johannes, Egbert, Arien and Neelken.
