Geertien was born in 1667 and her baptism took place on July 7th, 1667 in Haaften conducted by Reverend Cornelius Glummerus.1   Her godmother was Rijxken Willemsdr. Geertien's father was Gijsbert Alertszn Blomhert and her mother is N.N. N.N..  Her paternal grandfather was Alert Stevenszn Blomhert and her paternal grandmother is N.N. N.N.. She had a brother and three sisters, named Willem, Eijlken, Metie and Risken.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  Geertien is no longer alive.
