Eijlken was born in 1663 and her baptism took place on March 15th, 1663 in Haaften conducted by Reverend Cornelius Glummerus.1   Her godmother was Geertie Alertsen. Eijlken's father was Gijsbert Alertszn Blomhert and her mother is N.N. N.N..  Her paternal grandfather was Alert Stevenszn Blomhert and her paternal grandmother is N.N. N.N.. She had a brother and three sisters, named Willem, Geertien, Metie and Risken.  She was the oldest of the five children.  Eijlken is no longer alive.
