William Harper 
William was born on January 22nd, 1916 in Shotton, Co Durham.1 William's father was Robert Harper and his mother was Hannah Lincoln. His paternal grandparents were Ezekiel Harper and Mary Knowles; his maternal grandparents were William Edgar Lincoln and Margaret Ann Henderson. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Margaret. He was the oldest of the three children. He died as a result of myocardial infarction at the age of 81 on April 8th, 1997 at St James Hospital, Leeds, Yorkshire.2 -
