Cecilia Farrer 
Cecilia was born in 1867 in Kirkharle, Northumberland.1 Cecilia's father was John Farrer and her mother was Ann Waugh. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Farrer and Anne Gibson; her maternal grandparents were William Waugh and Mary Dodd. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Annie, Mary and Isabella. She was the oldest of the six children.
