John Barnfather 
John was born in 1745 in Lanercost, Cumberland and his christening took place there on February 17th, 1745. John's father was William Barnfather and his mother was Mary Tallantyre. His paternal grandparents were James Barnfather and Jane Urwin. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, Anne and Sarah. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 84 in 1829 in Haltwhistle, Northumberland.-
