Sarah Barnfather 
Sarah was born in 1750 in Lanercost, Cumberland and her baptism took place there on December 16th, 1750. Sarah's father was William Barnfather and her mother was Mary Tallantyre. Her paternal grandparents were James Barnfather and Jane Urwin. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Anne. She was the second youngest of the four children.
