Hannah was born in 1816.  Hannah's father was John Frow and her mother was Ann Towl.  Her paternal grandparents were John Frow and Sarah. She had three brothers and six sisters, named George, Morris, William, Caroline, Dorcas, Ann, Ellen, Mary and Harriet.  She was the oldest of the ten children.
