Abraham Eccles was born on April 23rd, 1788.  Abraham Eccles' father was John Farrar and his mother was Hannah Eccles.  His paternal grandfather was Luke Farrar; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Eccles and Sarah Heap. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Luke, John, Jemima, Mary Ann and Hannah.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 60 on April 8th, 1849.
