Elizabeth Catherine Rainey

Elizabeth was born on January 8th, 1846 in Chedzoy, Somerset.¹

Elizabeth's father was William Rainey and her mother was Agnes Maria Carslake. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Rainey and Elizabeth N; her maternal grandparents were Henry Acland Carslake and Caroline Sarah Crago. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Edmund, John, Levi, Sarah and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died in an accident or as a result of an injury, lightning strike, at the age of 71 in March 1917 in Southampton, Hampshire.²
