Henry was born in 1797 in Southampton, Hampshire and his christening took place on January 15th, 1797 in St Marys, Southampton, Hampshire.1   Henry's father was Daniel Parker and his mother was Celia Plowman.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Parker and Elizabeth Fry. He had four brothers and six sisters, named George, Thomas, William, Daniel, Hannah, Lizzy, Maria, Celia, Elizabeth and Louisa.  He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 72 on April 21st, 1869 in Sholing Hound Southampton, Hampshire.  He was buried in St Mary's Church.
