George Parker

George was born in 1788 in Itchen Ferry, Hampshire and his christening took place on March 9th, 1788 in St Marys, Southampton, Hampshire.¹² George's father was Daniel Parker and his mother was Celia Plowman. His paternal grandparents were Richard Parker and Elizabeth Fry. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Thomas, William, Daniel, Hannah, Lizzy, Maria, Celia, Elizabeth and Louisa. He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
