Alfred William Jewett

Alfred was born in March 1900 in St Mary Extra, Southampton, Hampshire.¹ Alfred's father was Joseph Henry Jewett and his mother was Eva Warren Spargo. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Angel Jewett and Emma Parker. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Arthur, Sidney, George, Eva and Mabel. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
