Karolina (Lena) Ethelina Olive Horncastle

Karolina, known as Lena, was born on December 10th, 1893 in 29 Johns Place, Mile End Old Town, Middlesex.¹

Lena's father was Benjamin Henry Horncastle and her mother was Sarah Newell. Her paternal grandparents were James Raphael Horncastle and Maria Thompson. She had a brother and two sisters, named Benjamin, Ada and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 80 in March 1974 in Stepney, Middlesex.²
