Martha was born in 1741 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire and her christening took place there on March 15th, 1741.1   Martha's father was John Brown and her mother was Martha Morris.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brown and Ann; her maternal grandparents were John Morris and Martha Hill. She had four brothers named Elijah, John, William and Richard.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died on November 22nd, 1741 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire.1
