Eliza was born on October 7th, 1849 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire and her baptism took place on March 10th, 1850 in Kenilworth Parish Church, Warwickshire.¹

  At the time of Eliza's baptism she & her family were living at Kenilworth.

Eliza's father was Charles WRIGHT and her mother was Susannah BARR.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas WRIGHT and Mary PLESSEY; her maternal grandfather was John BARR and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had a brother and three sisters, named Charles, Sarah, Mary and Susannah.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 44 on March 24th, 1894 in Welford, Nr.Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
