Benjamin was born in 1861 in West Bromwich, Stafford.¹ Benjamin's father was Samuel PAGE and his mother was Elizabeth WALMSLEY. His paternal grandparents were Simeon PAGE and Sarah <UNKNOWN>. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Samson, Thomas, Joseph, Sarah, Elizabeth, Alice and Alice. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
