Frederick was born on October 8th, 1921 in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.1  Frederick's father was Frederick James COOK(E) and his mother was Doris Mary COOPER.  His paternal grandparents were William COOK(E) and Elizabeth ROBINSON; his maternal grandparents were Albert COOPER and Sarah SKERRITT. He had a brother and a sister, named Hubert and Doris.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 96 on April 19th, 2018 in Rutland Manor Nursing Home, 99-109 Heanor Road, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.2
