Bertie was born on January 14th, 1895 in Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire and his baptism took place on February 24th, 1895 in St.Pauls Church, Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.1   Bertie's father was William COOK(E) and his mother was Elizabeth ROBINSON.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas COOK(E) and Mary Ann COPE; his maternal grandmother was Mary Ann ROBINSON. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Frederick, Herbert and Edith.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 1 on April 10th, 1896 in Stockingford, Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
