Elizabeth was born on October 7th, 1901 in Blyth Northumberland England.  Elizabeth's father was James Combs and her mother was Annie Elizabeth Laverick.  Her paternal grandparents were James Comb and Annie Green; her maternal grandparents were James Laverick and Ann Young. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Wilfred, James, John, Winifred, Laura, Anne, Ethel, Gladys and Evelyn.  She died at the age of 76 on December 24th, 1977 in Hepscott Park Homes Stannington Northumberland England.
