Shelomo was born in 1913.  Shelomo's father was Yaakov Margaliot and his mother was Necha Neta Ebenstein.  His paternal grandparents were Chaim Margaliot and Blima Braunstein. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Leon, Chaim, Klara, Sara and Malka.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died  due to Holocaust at the age of 30 in 1943 in Buczacz, Poland, today in Ukraine.
