Jaime was born in 1903.  Jaime's father was Jaime Hugas Comas and his mother was Josefa Vilarasau Codina.  His paternal grandparents were Lorenzo Hugas Vallhonrat and Ana Comas Esteve; his maternal grandparents were Jaume Vilarasau Creus and Margarita Codina Mir. He had three brothers named José, Enrique and Francisco.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury at the age of 50 in 1953.
