Joseph was born on February 9th, 1828 in Billericay Essex and his christening took place on February 12th, 1828 at St Mary Magdalen Gt Burstead Essex.1   Joseph's father was Joseph (of Billericay) Worpole (Journeyman Brewer) and his mother was Jemina (Nurse). He had a brother and three sisters, named John, Frances, Sarah and Hannah.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died  due to bronchitis at the age of 77 on June 15th, 1905 in Byron St.2

Joseph and Ann were married in a ceremony.  They had three sons and two daughters, named John, Charles, Joseph, Mary and Alice.
