Thomas was born about October 1750 in Barking Creek and his christening took place on November 6th, 1750 at St Margaret's Barking.¹ Thomas' father was Ambrose Skinner (of Longbridge) and his mother was Ann Pittman. His paternal grandmother was ANN (of Longbridge). He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas, Ambrose, William, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Ann, Catherine, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth. He died on August 2nd, 1817. The funeral took place at St Margaret's Church Barking. He was buried at St Margaret's Church Barking.²³
