Ambrose was born in 1741 in Barking Essex.1   Ambrose's father was Ambrose Skinner (of Longbridge) and his mother was Ann Pittman.  His paternal grandmother was ANN (of Longbridge). He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas, William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Ann, Catherine, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 61 on July 16th, 1802 in Longbridge Farm Barking Essex.  The funeral took place in July 1802 at St Margaret's Barking.  He was buried in July 1802 at St Margaret's Barking.1
