David was born on April 6th, 1890.  David's father was Thomas Skinner Simmans (Shipwright - Engine driver - B St Margarets) and his mother was Susannah Mullett (LH 7 Rippleside).  His paternal grandparents were William Simmans (shoemaker) and Hannah Cabburn; his maternal grandparents were Robert (smack owner) Mullett (Sailmaker -Fisherman) and Susannah Linsdell (Grave 242). He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Ernest, Alice, Ruth, Sarah, Hannah, Emily, Georgina and Susannah.  He was the youngest of the ten children.  He died about January 20th, 1942 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on January 24th, 1942 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on January 2nd, 1942 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.1
