Benjamin was born on June 26th, 1799 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on July 20th, 1799 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1   Benjamin's father is Richard Henn and his mother was Ann Dunsdon.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Dunsdon and Margaret Clough. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Charles, Thomas, Richard, John, James, Charles, William, George and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 77 in June 1876 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried.2

Benjamin and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on December 21st, 1821 at St Mary Magdalene East Ham witnessed by Isaac Bull & Eliza Lucas. They had two sons and two daughters, named Benjamin, William, Sarah and Rebecca.
