ANN was born on July 31st, 1788 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on August 5th, 1788 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1   ANN's father was JOHN Douss and her mother was ANN. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas and Sarah.  She was the second oldest of the four children.

ANN and Joseph were married in a religious ceremony on March 28th, 1815 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.2
