Sydney was born in 1874 in Poplar.  Sydney's father is Tom Brokenshire (Commerical Clerk) and his mother was Alice Worpole.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Worpole (Metal Merchant-Marine Stores) and Ann of Poplar Noel. He had a brother and a sister, named Bertrum and Lillian.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  Sydney is no longer alive.
