Sarah was born in 1851 in Colne Engaine.1  Sarah's father was Samuel  Brewer (Iron Work Labourer) and her mother was Elizabeth.  Her paternal grandfather was John Brewer and her paternal grandmother is Susan. She had five brothers and a sister, named Esau, Benjamin, Samuel, Jerimiah, Thomas and Dianna.  She was the youngest of the seven children.



Sarah's family

Sarah and David were married in a religious ceremony in September 1876 in Halstead Essex.2  They had a son and a daughter, named David and Elizabeth.
