Arthur was born on August 31st, 1868 in Barking Essex. Arthur's father was Esau Brewer (a Groom Glenny Brewery) and his mother was Sarah Smith (Salvation Army BUR K 874). His paternal grandparents were Samuel Brewer (Iron Work Labourer) and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were John of ( Clare Suffolk) Smith and Mary Ann Abrams (of (Gestingthorpe Essex)). He had two sisters named Jessie and Alice. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 72 on March 13th, 1941 in California USA. He was buried on March 20th, 1941 in Pacific Palisades.¹¹
