Mary was born on October 12th, 1834.1   Mary's father was Edward born Merstham Surrey Bennett (Bricklayer then Inn Keeper) and her mother was Sarah Tulett (of Crawley Sussex).  Her paternal grandfather was Bennett and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Henry, John, William, Richard, Jane, Sarah, Maria, Louisa and Caroline.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 49 on November 23rd, 1883.1
